The function f(x)=sin(1/x) with f(0)=0 is the derivative of a function everywhere, even at x=0.
On the other hand, the solution function in the video has diverging difference quotient at x=0 however you pick C and however you pick F(0). The direction F is going doesn't change often enough to keep the ups and downs of F in a small space.
