Although I'm not sure if I should read this one, I was really happy about the information about techno music (I'm listening to your Playlist right now and it's great!). I read the hell outta this book when it came out, and also happened to have just moved to Cambridge, Mass., which was very much a blossoming third wave community. There wasn't a traffic jam in the morning and again in the evening, but the fewer cars were dispersed throughout the day, as many people worked in cottage industries, largely as an adjunct to Harvard and MIT. Over the decades I have seen his ideas borne out time and again. Information is digitized as hard books become art. By far his best. The others are footnotes of this magnificent classic.

Hey great video man, haven't seen your stuff in a while, but found this one in my youtube recommendations and watched it from beginning to end, great review! (also coincidentally just finished reading Future Shock by Toffler and it's fucking good)
Been reading the book of disquiet for a second time now and i keep coming back to your video on it. i remember when i read it for the first time a while ago and watched your video and loved it, tremendously insightful video. i think that's one of your best reviews, that and your underworld review. also i remember that one video where you sang god damn the sun by swans when your father had passed away, that was really beautiful.

I wish everybody read this book. i was lucky to come across a copy tatters and restored it be readable state back in 2011, from then i became a student of his school of thought.then fast forward, 2014 a friend was carried to rehab with it and it was taken back by the universe. i hope it touched many more psychs like it did mine.

Hey Cliff! I truly love hearing your literate opinions; it's beautiful to hear someone talking with so much passion about literature. I'm wondering if you've read any Christopher Hitchens? Either his atheistic handbook: 'God is Not Great' or his poetic and terse 'Mortality'. Love to know what you think.

I think it was Cicero who first said that those who cannot remember the past are doomed to repeat it. Margaret Thatcher said the same thing more or less, i.e. different words, same meaning. Just think: the 7.4 billion people now on Planet Terra represent souls who need a place to live.
