The old one look quit a bit better by having a more robust look in it...
The new one has this smooth look.

Can i ask how water proof are buttons to door??
Like me i backing truck and trailer door open even is heavy thunder rain.I know meny other drivers too whos do that same..open all door or window when backing.
I fear its those buttons not stand water?

Driving a next generation v8 520 for 3 years now . Never had such a shit truck like this one . I hate that piece of crap . So many problems, from fridge till windscreen, from sensors in the exhaust til gearbox . For me never a scania again

Interesting. It looks more like a brick or square box . The lights look good and the interior is also great but nothing "dynamic". it would be so much better if the stupid EU would allow truck manufacturers to make bigger, longer cabs for long distance drivers.

at first glance it reminds me of a refuse truck collecting wheelie bins. the roof is so square it looks like the design engieers forgot about it. maybe it just takes a bit of getting used to as did the 4 series when launched in the 90's

Really is very square and seems to be less aerodynamic and less harmonic lines... and worst: less real space to the driver move youself.

The only positive thing I see is the steering wheel, but Scania build trucks and engines, not steering wheels.

Bed? The space to it is humiliation from Scania to drivers. "Why" driver needs comfort and horizontal space? XD

The metal stairs for climbing into cabin are horrible, once my leg slipped when climbing in, so i hit into metal, it was so painful i actually fainted.
