Excellent review! Easy to follow, great mix of riding and walk around footage and no annoying background music made it very enjoyable to watch. Thanks! I am going to visit the Ducati factory next month and I am leaning toward this bike. I’m 6’2”, 100kg and 33” inseam. I think it is going to fit me very well. I have not owned a street bike since I was in my 20s. Now I am in my 50s and plan to buy one bike to do everything and hold on to it for a long time. And yes…black has that German look about it, but I prefer it over the 80/90s white look.

But you asked for comments to your content … so I actually own the white one, but tricked out for off road a bit more heavy duty 😀 roll cage, Bashplate, driving lights (lonerider) soft luggage for moto camping and multi day adventure trips 😎
I’m a world traveler on my bike and that’s why I think it’s the perfect machine 🙏
I when with white as an Omage to the lucky strike Dakar Race winner back in the day 👍
I’m glad Ducati is getting into off-road bikes, because when it’s on the big highways between mountains and oceans I love being on a Ducati 🤩

As a owner of a 2023 bike (dark grey not black bike 😅) it looks better than what it actually can do. Bad points... Budget suspension, budget chain and sprockets, the str tyres are lethal offroad in wet conditions, useless windscreen, 937 engine known for oil leaks from behind the timing belt cover, stock seat not good after a few hours, cracking rims and snapping spokes with heavy offroad use and warping discs on earlier bikes, also if you spill fuel on the rear auxiliary fuel tank it will stain easily.

Good points 4 year warranty, fast, nimble, great in the corners, good touring bike, good offroad very well balanced bike, good electronics and good lighting, very good brakes when fitted with proper red brembo sintered brake pads, looks lovely, go for 3rd party extras as they alot cheaper lol, would I buy another one no, this is my first and last ducati I'll buy, if you want a bike to do everything and be reliable and do 100 thousand plus miles get a africa twin 😅

£14275 for the white and £15275 for the dark grey from most dealers, i payed less for my dark grey than what a hair dresser white one costs so shop around as there are deals out there

Dark grey bikes are only being supplied for 1 year, theres a rally version and a new colour scheme bike on their way 👍

STR is for "Street". You could do some homework before publishing such expertise.

The Scorpion Rally STR is likely 70/30 road/terrain. There is also the more dirt oriented Scorpion Rally (without STR), which I would rate 40/60, with higher wear though.
