So, for Ryu it's not about winning Championships or attending the ceremony, it's about seeking challenges and self improvement

Ryu as a character is everything to me. He shows me no matter how much of a dark path we’re in, always push forward until you see the light. 2024 is my graduation year and when the ceremony begins, I will be there blasting his theme. But for now, my final challenge awaits.

This ending is so sad, Ryu won the tournament but he leaves without receiving his prize.
