For those who buy this thing it is highly recommended that they install an aftermarket exhaust. Companies out there will be working on that. Other than that, I really like the new SQ5.

Thank you TFL for your review of the 2018 Audi SQ5 in scenic Canada! I own a 2018 SQ5 and think your review is spot-on! I currently have approx. 1600 miles on it and love the power, room, fit & finish, handling, interior and exterior! I have used it to tow my 3 seat jet ski and haul two large kayaks on the roof. It is a fun SUV! The exhaust tip outlet fascia took some getting used to. But, I love the sound of the exhaust in Dynamic mode with the overrun blips. And I do not have to worry about the constant cleaning of the dual exhausts tips. Oh, and the Bang and Olufsen sound system is worth every penny!

The fake exhaust - Acura tried it and are now bringing back proper exhausts. Audi should have learned from that faux pas.

Also - thanks for sharing some Victoria scenery. It's gorgeous out there!

I was debating between the S4 and SQ5 prior to them being released. Once I saw the fake exhausts on the SQ5 were confirmed and the S4 had real QUAD exhausts, the decision was easy. I've had an S4 since late March and love it.

I have a 2018 SQ5 and 2016 Porsche Macan S. Even with the fake exhaust ports, the SQ5 sounds great. Both are excellent SUV’s. I really enjoy the exhaust note on the SQ5.

I own a 2015 SQ5. I have to say that its the best little SUV I have ever owned. I love the way my REAL exhaust tailpipes look. The fake ones would make me consider something else. Maybe a Porsche macan Turbo S.
