How about we start off just by reading it and then keeping that reading in context.

No. Reading it and thinking about it are like looking at a menu at a restaurant.
John 4:32-35
32 But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of.
33 Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat?
34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
If a person says I believe but doesn’t obey the Lord to love people in every way while preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and not Mary they will miss the opportunity to reap a true harvest which will be accompanied by miracles and healing which feed everyone. Jesus said to the Canaanite woman that healing/deliverance are the children’s bread. He also said in
James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
And in
Proverbs 26:51 The slothful hideth his hand in his bosom; it grieveth him to bring it again to his mouth.
There’s mana everywhere and all His disciples have to do is pick it up because it was prepared for them from long ago. Make sure you’re sowing Him and not someone or something else.
