I've been a fan of John since I was a 10 year old kid visiting my grandmother who lived in the States. I bought B.S.S.M. and loved it. John Frusciante is the ❤ of R.H.C.P. It showed both times he rejoined it. Unbelievably talented songwriter and guitar virtuoso with his own unique style which I feel is underrated. He knows less is more in a song so when he feels a song doesn't need a guitar solo he just drops it. He doesn't take part in the peeing contest to see who is fastest, music is art it's not the fucking Olympics 😂. He, the Pixies and Nirvana had such influence on me that I bought and learned to play a guitar. When i met my first real gf I couldn't believe when she and her twin said they also played and so we started a punk /indie rock band. My girl on bass and her twinsister played rythm guitar and sang. I sang/screamed and played lead guitar. It was the best years of my life so far. It ended when we broke up wich was sad. I can connect with John as I myself fell later into opiate addiction nighhtmare and was using fentanyl and benzos and
at my lowest. After some horrible years of being in and out of rehab and mental wards I managed to get off fentanyl with the help of suboxone. But I had the same battle scars as J.F. lost most of my teeth and had scars on my arms after self mutilation and failed suicide attempts. I know some former addicts in the NA community won't accept that Suboxone as being clean but I couldn't give a shit 😂. Now its almost 4 years clean and I've gotten tattoos over the ugliest scars. Still trying to finish fixing my teeth but its so fucking expensive but John is such a huuuuge inspiration for me that I will finish it and stay sober.
