I really like this movie! It's not a typical war movie. No people getting blown to bits, no bloodspill... this was an original movie, one of a kind, because I've never seen anything like it. A war movie... about art. About saving art during WWII. I loved the storyline, the pieces of art that have been shown. I thought the cast was incredible, great chemistry and the acting was subtle and easy to watch and listen to. Even though the cast was full of stars I felt that the real stars were the works of art. The journey the characters made to look for these masterpieces and to eventually find them, the signifacanse and importance of these pieces, it put the spotlight on these works of art and really let them shine. As a Belgian myself, it was pretty awesome seeing some of the most important works of art being featured (the Madonna With Child and The Lamb Of God). If you ever vist Belgium, check out Gent en Brugge... you won't be dissapointed! 😉

wow, these guys were only filming near my house only 2mths ago, and the trailer is out, by the way i live in duxford, cambridge, uk. it caused quite a stir for the locals to meet them, but have to say, they were all gentlemen, and had time to talk to everyone, so it just goes to show that not all hollywood stars, have their head up their arse.

I can't believe John Goodman is in this. Apparently this film is the early Oscar favourite for Best Film and if it wins, Goodman will have been in all of the last three films to win the award. The Artist, Argo then this.
