This is the best little women adaptation hands down. All of the actors did a fantastic job of portraying each of their characters along with the dynamics. This is also the one that didn’t really make you want Laurie and Jo to be together (which is how it’s supposed to be) and him and Amy ending up together was perfect

A lot of people might see this and mistake this as a feminist regretting her choices
But it’s not that she thinks she was wrong about women being capable of more than love and motherhood— She’s saying she hates that there is dichotomy in society that makes it so a woman has to choose one or the other. A man can have love AND fulfill their dreams, express their talents, etc. But a woman, in her time, could only do one or the other.
This is still relevant for many women today, who are dealing with societies expectation that we must give up on our dreams in order to have a family, when in reality, the men we start the family with should be taking an equal role in domestic life, so that we can BOTH have that balance.

Dreams, ambitions, talents, etc. they are all important, but they become so much sweeter when you can share it with you spouse/family. I can’t imagine working my whole life without my loving husband/children, I would be missing out on the best things in life.
