This Dior fashion show showed the harmony between the show venue and the model's clothes at its peak. The perfect combination of space and clothing was breathtaking. Although new attempts were rare, we succeeded by sticking to the basics. In a fashion world that seeks newness, choosing classics was a smart and beautiful thing to do.

A riff on 60s chic. MGC is pushing the envelope again, doubling down even, on the idea of elegance (restrained and, in Dior’s own words, “natural”). The creativity — the artistry — is in masterfully evoking the aura of Parisian je ne sais quoi. But not only Paris. I know everyone believes camel colors or beige is a classic choice for a wardrobe but the truth is, very few women are truly enhanced by it. The same can be said for for a designer collection i think if it is an overused color. The designs WERE classic and much better than many we see out there today but would have benefitted from a bolder color choice especially since older women who are likely the target clients. This collection needs a strong color to pull it together like fire engine red or a rich brilliant burgundy. Those colors would make those neutrals pop...

❤ i am delighted to see beautiful elegant essential minimalistic classicism, that some people are making comments about (maybe they're 90s post modernists, i dont know :). this is my aesthetic always and regardless of social, economic, and whatever other possible current trends or conditions for consideration at the time of creations, and i find it very 'Dior'. the silhouettes are very elegant, and they really help to emphasize the textures and textile compositions, and clean lines, without potentially distracting ornamentation :) i think many of these ensembles and the entire collection, with exception of perhaps a small number of pieces, are very befitting varietal and mixed or partial use for other ensembles, providing great value and myriad possibilities (jackets with jeans, other pants of multitude types, and other skirts, for instance, with matching skirts or pants with other tops, jackets, sweaters, various leggings / hosiery options, etc etc, giving great value and maximum practical use potential, dressed casually, for work, and for more dressed up formal affairs. i like it, and i think its a great show and collection :)
