Emma Stone, the Oscar-winning star of "La La Land," and Yorgos Lanthimos, director of such acclaimed films as "The Lobster" and "The Favourite," have teamed up on several projects, including "Poor Things," a phantasmagorical "Frankenstein"-like tale of a baby experiencing the world in a grown woman's body. And there are more Stone-Lanthimos films on the way. Correspondent Tracy Smith talks with the two who appear, professionally, to be joined at the hip.

Emma Stone has this old Hollywood charm, she’s very warm and charismatic! A wondrous talent.

This movie reminds me of the great cinemas of the 20th century when European movies made the best artistic movies. Back in the day, people could easily grasp the message of a movie in an elegiac or lyrical manner.

Emma was a spectacular presence in "The Favourite." I could watch that movie again just to re-experience her scenes.

I remember when Emma Stone won the Oscar in 2016 she said she had a lot of learning and growing to do and she definitely has since her collaboration with Lanthimos.

Lanthimos really seems like such a brilliant director. In part, I think that is because he knows how to work with our greatest living actresses (Colman, Weisz, Stone) in a way that brings their brilliance forward. I am so eager to see what he does next, and with whom

emma is just sublime in every way: acting, intellect, attitude, work ethic ... proud to call her a role model of mine. hoping she gets all her well earned flowers for her unprecedented performance in poor things 💗

There is so much more depth and meanings in the movie than just the sex scenes that the mentally underage people focus on. Indeed, the film is therefore not for everyone, but this is a literature masterpiece that I haven't seen in a long time.

Emma Stone will go down in history as one of the greatest actresses of our time! Her style is all her own, and I just love that husky voice. Class, beauty, and style with old Hollywood charm!

Emma is a true actor to be able to pull this off. So many good looking people appear on the silver screens, but most of them are not "actors", and unable to even change their looks or hairs to play a character.

Emma Stone is winning her second Oscars soon at 35!

Pride of Scottsdale! A strong acting career always best channel for anxiety (always thought she should have won an Oscar for her reaction to learning Joaquin Phoenix was a murderer in Irrational Man). Haven't seen Poor Things but carry on, Emma!
