Liberal MP Keith Wolahan has called out the prime minister for not letting Australians “into his trust” on the stage three tax cut changes after he said ‘my word is my bond’.

Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has confirmed his party will support Labor’s changes to stage three tax cuts.

“It was the Prime Minister who looked down the camera and said my word is my bond,” Mr Wolahan told Sky News Australia.

“Even a week before this was announced, a week before they all flew back up to Canberra to have that party room meeting … the prime minister was acting like nothing was happening.

“He didn’t let Australians into his trust, and that’s what this is about – it’s about trust, and Australians will have a point where they will decide whether they trust this prime minister.”

Getting real tired of these politicians saying they understand how the Australian people are doing it tough especially the rental crisis yet 86% of all politicians own rental properties so they are causing pain for renters and people not being able to afford a home, It's time the Australian people stood up to these hypocrites and put them in their place and remind them who they're supposed to be bloody working for🤬😭

The hardest part for all Australians is trying to work out who the true beneficiaries actually are no matter what comes out of any politicians mouth.

Airbus and his pal jimbo took away the low income tax offset that was to help the most struggling Aussie workers, he seems pretty tight lipped about that!
