Well talk about a nice surprise on a Tuesday! Dev of the project here and sub of the channel, thanks for showing off Speedtest Tracker!

I'll be adding your video to the docs to help people get started.

Thanks for all your hard work on these videos. I watch and follow through with your work and explanation. Overall, really appreciate this.

Nice. I hated the other one with the horrible outdated grafana charts. This is simpler and cleaner. I do appreciate something built with purpose and this seems to be it. Anyways, Thanks for always sharing the :)

Great and very comprehensive - well done! Username and Password are now changeable. :) That frustrated me back then, too. There's been quite a few updates by Alex (maintainer). I've just uploaded a (slightly less comprehensive) but more recent overview over Speedtest-Tracker on my channel.

Thank you for the clear video that explains everything so well.
However, there's a problem for me. The results I am receiving are half as fast as my Internet connection. I have 300 down / 20 up speeds and when I use SpeedTest it's about 330/21 on average.
The results I am seeing with the tool are about 170/20.
I am running this on a Windows machiccne, and have the tool installed on Docker/Portainer.
It seems this is a known issue with SpeedTest. Does anyone else have this problem? And, I followed the instructions in this video closely. Is there something I am not doing or need to do beforehand?

Setup was EASY! But I am noticing that the results in Dockerr Contain Speedtest are different than if I run manually from the Ookla Speedtest website. It's not a matter of MBps vs. Mbps .

I just started a new setup and tried to deploy this in portainer following the video and for some reason it keeps failing to deploy the container and I have no clue what I'm doing wrong.

have you considered doing a video on self-hosting jitsi? I am looking for a dockerized video conferencing tool, and thought that you may have done that, but I can't find one by you! You always do a great job with your explanations.

Hey DBTech, love your videos, it's been really helpful on my homelab journey :)

I'm trying to set this up behind my Nginx Proxy Manager, but I'm not able to access the admin page. First I had problems with css not loading on the login page. I changed my proxy from http (port 80) to https (port 443) and now the CSS loads on the login page, but when I login I get a 500 on /admin.

Have you ever tried settings this behind a reverse proxy? Does it need extra environment variables to be able to access it?

Thanks!

Anyone have an idea why this only works if I disable the 'Block/Deny All' final rule in my firewall? (Even when a rule has been added above that opens 8443.)
