BEING FOLLOWED INTO JERICOACOARA, BRAZIL 🇧🇷 WE DIDN'T MAKE IT

We are traveling Brazil for several months to see this wonderful country. Today we drive from Canoa Quebrada to Jericoacoara, but once we arrive in the town nearby, we are followed by several men on bikes and can't seem to figure out what's going on. Because of all the confusion, we don't get into Jericoacoara tonight. Instead, we have to stay outside of it. But we will get there tomorrow. This is our Brazil Travel Vlog. Guys, always be on your guard. You never know when someone is trying to scam you. If this happens again you could try asking for their cell phone number and the address of the parking lot, and say you'll contact them later on. That buys you time to do some research and see if they are genuine or not. If you have to stop your car, always make sure you do it in a place where other people can see you, never in a remote place.

I've been to Jeri a few times, so let me explain to you what happened... Jeri village its located inside of a national park, surrounded by sand dunes, so, The motorcycle guy was offering his services to drive your car to the village throught the best avaliable routs on the park. Its cheaper doing this than get the official way(where they also try to sell you a private "cab"). I agree they are very agressive and insistent. Thats make the whole experience worse.

Pessoal, essas insistências sobre turistas são comuns não somente no Brasil. Na Europa eu fui perturbado por várias pessoas assim. Em Roma, Pisa, Paris ... sempre aparecia gente tentando me vender algo: pulseiras, lembranças e até uns Iphones bem suspeitos.

For all the people outside Brazil: even though Brazil have some problems, specially when we talk about safety (wich some people exaggerate about), it is a VERY underated country that has SO much to offer, not just beaches or samba. So, stop the preconception and feel free to descover all of it yourself!

Unfortunately these people follow even us, brazilians, when we go to Jericoacoara. It is not only because you are foreigners, I can assure you, but when they realize you are not brazilians I think they become even more unconvenient. Sorry for that. Even though we know they are trying to sell some tours as this is how they eat and pay their bills (and it is a very poor region), it is not acceptable. It must be prohibited! Hope they don't bother you guys tomorrow and you can enjoy Jericoacoara. It is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been here in Brazil.
