Guys, it seems a lot of people are noticing this issue with iPhone 11, 12 and 13.

Turns out the issue is NOT with the camera’s, but it’s the photos app that’s adding a layer of ugly over-sharpening. If you watch the photos trough a 3rd party app or transfer to a pc, they look fine. And if you try watching photos taken with a 3rd party in the photos app, the images then appear ugly.

I read a forum post claiming the solution is to go to settings > photos > and then disable “show in full HDR”. Apparently other people have reported it working, but for me this unfortunately did not solve the issue. Let me know if this works. Cheers

The front camera on iphone 13 its so blurry I upgraded from iphone 7 and the front camera was sharper and better but the back on iphone 13 is amazing kinda disappointing by the zoom but its fine

Just upgraded from an 8 plus to iPhone 12 and man the camera is just so bad it makes me look weirdly matte and grey. I have browny tan skin with some sun spots and discolouration and I feel like this camera just makes my skin look patchy and uneven. Super frustrating. I’m having to take my selfies on my old phone.
