Blindrun, I think it's important when you discuss "privacy coins" (or at least Monero specifically) and exchange adoption, you are clear the exchanges CHOOSE to not list them. It's not that they CAN'T list them, as Kraken continues to prove. Monero can be fully compliant with existing AML regulation regarding fiat cash, because of the existence of view keys in the protocol and KYC rules on the exchange. Exchanges take the "easy" route by outsourcing compliance to chain analysis companies to surveil transactions, and in so doing they feel that will make crypto more appealing to government when new regulations are being planned. Consumers should be pushing for exchanges to list privacy coins, especially as we're are getting closer to Central Bank Digital Currencies and a push to eliminate cash.

Side note: I REALLY appreciate when you take the time to remind people about the ideals of crypto, what it should be about and what we should be striving for! It's so vital we don't lose sight of that.

You can't point out that the Pirate community talks about price often without mentioning that the devs, and team around them literally NEVER talk about it, and refuse to when asked about it. To the core members PirateChain is about the philosophy that the tech enables us to follow.

While this is a decent review, several statements really bugged me. While there has been a lot of talk about price (who wouldn't with the massive increase in marketcap), listen to the team's weekly meeting recordings, it's 100% about the tech, developments, and answering tech questions from the community. Secondly, you do realize it was the first zk only chain ever, beat zcash to the punch with both sapling integration and the world's first z-z only mobile wallet, as well as creating its own OS. I highly recommend contacting Draeth (one of the captains) and having an interview/chat with him about why pirate is way more special than you realize.

That was a pretty lousy review Son. You forgot to mention the #1 feature that all transactions are 100% shielded and private. Therefore all wallet addresses and amounts are untraceable in the blockchain explorer.

The problem with most crypto is that it is not fungible one bit or ether can be segregated and tracked by the government. Arrr doesn't have that issue.

Please do a deep dive video on Komodo! They build great tech but get hardly any recognition. It would be a great service to the KMD team and community that has worked so hard if you could do a video dedication to Komodo tech.

Appreciate the consideration in reviewing Pirate Chain. Crypto in general is a complicated concept to fully understand, let alone privacy coins. You let us know that you have a handle on surveillance coins. Privacy coins are on a different level of comphrension. You seem to have a basic level of understanding on Pirate Chain.

Pirate Chain was built using the Komodo Platform, it is an independant chain.

Dpow which secured the chain through notarizing on KMD and LTC is integral in protecting against 51% attacks. Meaning and attacker would need to attack Pirate Chain, KMD, and LTC simultaneously with 51% control to successfully attack Pirate Chain.

Zk-snarks the technology used to prove a thing, without saying you knowthe thing is no easy task to understand. Ultimately this tech provides shielded transaction to inhibit anyone from viewing a transaction.

zk-snarks is common and is used by other chains, but the ability to provide interaction, through, wallets, exchanges(cex and dex), and payment solutions(pirate pay). Is no easy task and our devs have mastered this and have implemented this on many instances.

500, 000 + anonset is the ability of Pirate Chain to hide any metadata that could be gleaned from a transaction. Basically if we use the analogy of finding a specific needle in a pile of 500k identical needles and the transaction is a needle, well that's incredibly improbable to find that 1 specific needle.

The scalability potential through the KMD is far greater than any other chain.

The speed and cost of transaction are very fast and cheap. I welcome you to try these transfers out.

You didn't even touch on some of the most important values that Pirate Chain has, fungibilty for one. Pirate Chain is the most fungible coin in existence

The other being Pirate Chains use of viewing keys which allow your coins to be held offline in cold storage and you can still view your balance and transaction history while not having to allow access to them

There needs to be another option besides Monero in the future - ARRR is grabbing that part. The Pirate name have strong foothold from the Pirate Bay users. And Pirate = Private 🤓

Perhaps give their discord another chance. The original miners are a different breed, the majority of the newer miners (i was just as guilty of this) are in purely because of the crazy price fluctuations, not the commodities as such they are buying.
It really is a case now of "i can dig up silver in my backgarden and sell it or swap it for gold or platinum"
Not "why is this silver here?"
