It's many years since I've been there, but I think I remember a christal glass staircase and a huge long room with huge chandeliers and mirrors and free standing chandeliers along the sides of the room, stunning

I think I remember a room with paintings by famous artists, I was told it was built on reclaimed land floated on trees as foundation and some chandeliers donated by Queen Victoria

The architect of this palace was Garabet Balyan (Կարապետ Պալեան), an Armenian who was part of the famous Balyan architectural family.

No actually there's a difference, Haram means forbidden and harem. Means females, womens, wife's, both of them are Arabic words 👍🏻
