This is wrong according to ATI. ATI says a three point gait requires all weight on one foot while using both crutches. The affected leg should never bear weight or touch the ground. But you’re saying that there is partial weight on the affected side.

Can we do like the following: two crashes at the same time forward, then the affected leg, then the non-affected leg? I see it will be easy to demonstrate it to the patient

The hospital didn’t teach me this before I left. I had to google it. 🤦🏾‍♀️ Thankfully I googled early, otherwise my armpits would’ve been sore. Now my arms and wrists are just sore 😂

Would this be if you can't bear your own weight without putting your affected leg down or is it beneficial to bear a little weight? Or does it depend on the injury? Broken vs sprained etc.
