YVYV: Jim Moore analysis on Washington's Third Congressional District

The general election is now just one month away!

One of the country's most competitive and contentious congressional races is taking place in Washington's Third District.

The candidates: U.S. Representative Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, a Democrat from Skamania County, and retired veteran Joe Kent, a Republican from Yacolt.

This race could play a pivotal role in which party controls the U.S. House next year.

On Monday at 6 p.m., KATU News and the program's sponsor, Willamette University, will host a live debate between the two candidates who have very different views on the issues facing this nation.

Jim Moore, Pacific University politics professor joins Steve Dunn to discuss this week's big political news, including tomorrow's debate with Washington's CD-3 candidates, on this week’s edition of Your Voice, Your Vote.
