This special Passover variant of the IDF's 4 person 24 hour ration could be utilized many different ways, and in this case a small stove top & skillet are used for improvised cooking, along with a rolling pin.

Featuring Matzah Bread as the special guest of sorts. A staple for Passover and always used by the IDF with these special rations.

This was filmed a little while back and I'm happy to finally get it out there because it was a really fun review. There are quite a few more gems like this one buried away.
Hope you enjoy it and see you in the next few days, I'm currently finishing up a Canadian IMP from 2006 and a double feature PLA ration review. Alright cool, see ya. -steve

I'm convinced that Steve treats MREs like wine. The older the better.

Steve is one of the few content creators that whenever I see a new upload I get genuinely excited. They're like rare delicacies that we only get every once in a while and that's perfectly ok

Everybody already knows you’re a legend, but reviewing a ration with a damn tuna candle burning on the tray is next level.

They literally just cleared out someone's pantry and called it an mre. 💀

These Israeli rations are just like taking a look at what you got left in the pantry when it's time to stock up.

Little known fact, the can opening scenes where Steve uses the traditional military style can openers, are slowed down so the viewer can see him doing it, not sped up to save time.

Man this ration looks like the most "design by committee" ration ever. The items are bulky, heavy, and don't go together really. No beverage, no retort, no heating element, no easy snackable on the go item besides the peanuts. Looks like a ration 40 years behind the times.

I was sleeping to a Steve playlist, and woke up just as he said "lots of bread, chocolate spread" and for hours now it's been all I can think about.

Steve man, I have to say. I have struggled with bouts of insomnia most of my life, and nothing ever really helped. But when I put on one of your videos it almost always puts me to sleep, in a good way of course. Like some sort of MRE lullaby or something. lol. It's helped me out a ton, so thanks for that.

Steve just calmly reviewing the halva and chocolate as his tin of tuna burns is awesome.

“Believe it or not” I absolutely believe the corn was highly desirable in a cardboard box filled with canned fish.

Notice that 90% of the comments are something wholesome about Steve. Man really is the Mr. Rogers of Rations.

Tip. If you just put a hole in the top of the tuna and poke a wick through, you can use it as a candle or cooking source for other foods at the same time. It's an edible multitool!

Alright it’s official, we need a “cooking with Steve” series, that was some entertaining stuff right there

Steve: ignores a 5 year old can of tuna salad because of concern for health problems
Also Steve: eats 100+ year old pork

I love the imagery of Steve calmly reviewing the food as his tuna can burns in a big flame

There's just something about a tuna table candle that brightens and brings class to even a simple meal.

Only with Steve are we treated to the word 'decadence" associated with anything in an MRE. Great work sir. Thank you for your passion.

Love how Steve has NEVER changed his videos style always showing pictures of the soldier who would/would’ve been eating these rations first . Gets each meal ready and you gotta love the hiss test! Nice!

Big props to the soldier who figured out that trick to "smoke" the can of tuna. I bet that would also make a handy fire starter!
