They say there’ll be a purple “standard” version that can’t save 10, 000 solves, but will probably be cheaper coming soon. I personally want purple… but not at the cost of the cool innovation.

Why does the title say no batteries needed? It has a battery and it needs to be charged. It will not run without a battery.

Hey, I’m going to a comp in April, Hopefully I get a sub 8 average at that one. I need to beat max to win lol so I’m just shooting for a sub 8 average

Just bought their other bluetooth smart timer that takes rechargeable batteries, it works fine and I can use the batteries for other things around the house if needed, so won't be upgrading any time soon. Not sure if it does this or not but it would be great is if it stopped you from using it when battery before it gets too low to where there is a potential for it to shut off in the middle of a solve or before it starts glitching out... It would make it more full proof timer. These timers do seem a lot more practical and compact than the ones they use in comp, I wonder will the WCA every switch to these in the future?
