Return of the PPG! 3rd Wave Synth at NAMM 2020 part 2 of 2

Groove Synthesis describes the 3rd Wave as “what would have happened if PPG never went out of business.” We couldn’t agree more. In this second video, we hear a lot of great sound demos from one of the chief sound designers himself — Mattea Simovich of the band Inhalt.

Very recognisable sound, from a synth that was always difficult to obtain. Sort of the perfect bridge between an analog synth and a sampler. Also completely different character to FM, so absolutely adding something new and refreshing to the market. I love it.
