I'm not sure how you get 2.24 on the diluted eps calculation it should be 1.17?

There are several things I'm confused about with this problem. How did you get $19, 000 for revenues when the slide said $19, 500 in revenues. Also, the diluted - when I calculate 8216/2000+5000*(3/12) I come up with 2.528 which is the same as 2.53 for Basic EPS.

Thank you so much for your videos. I have a question, shouldn’t the ratio for prorated outstanding shares be 1/4 instead of 1/3 since there were outstanding for 3 months.

Hi. I have watched your other videos to calculate weighted average shares outstanding. Im referring to time stamp 8:55 minute in the video. To calculate weighted av shares outstanding should we not take 2000 shares of common stock for 9/12 months and then 7000 shares for 3 months? This gives us 3, 250 shares and this Diluted EPS of $2.528. Thanks.
