BT said trust me and at the end there is binary that reads “jack?” In his helmet. BT is alive. He even said at the beginning that BT has fragments of himself in jacks helmet

I told myself protocol 3 when a deer jumped out and totaled my truck. I about hit my knees when they told me they were going to total a vehicle i put over 400k miles on. I got the hood on my wall. Just to keep something that gave me so much life.

As a transformers fan, I'm upset I've felt more sad about this robots death than any of the transformers that have had several long movies and shows

I’m very curious, maybe someone with more knowledge of titanfall lore can help me. Are AI in the universe meant to be like fully realized people? Or are they supposed to be shackled and hollow? Or some sort of in between like Star Wars droids? Because between this choice from BT and the way he changes his words in the previous near death scenario to ‘Protocol 3: I will not lose another pilot’ almost make it seem like he’s a special case of an AI becoming a more realized person.
