The only reason the charges were dropped was because of public outcry. DA Bragg didn't want to be held up to scrutiny a 2nd time, like his was after he had a Barista store owner charged with murder S/P his defending himself against an attacker in his store. That poor guy was taken to Rikers Island for a whole week, while the DAs office tried to squeeze him into a confession/deal. Besides the fact that the parking lot attendant should have also never been arrested/charged, there was too much public backlash. So, now... the mostly wrong Bragg wants all of the media focus to be on the Trump case this week.

It goes to show how laws favor criminals when they try to charge an innocent person for a crime when they're just trying to protect themselves from some gun-toting low-life. That parking attendant should have been praised to begin with. I just don't understand why the parking attendant was charged with anything criminal.
