What's even worse about the dogs is that since they were trained with soviet tanks, they mostly blew up soviet tanks instead of German ones. So in addition to using dogs as living bombs, that didn't even help the Soviets at all.

That dog was sergeant Stubby, and he helped rescue injured soldiers and sniff out enemy spies in ww1. (Yes, he was actually given the rank sergeant!)

Thomas Jefferson also believed that slavery was like “Holding a wolf by the tail” because while he didn’t support slavery, he believed that if slavery were abolished there would be chaos in the country.

That dogs on screen is Sergent Stubby, an American dog who won several metals, starting out as a stray he wandered onto a military base, there he met a solder (I forgot his name) he charmed everyone around the base by learning how to salute to commanders. However they said he would have to be left behind but the solder and his buddies smuggled him onto the ship and he got to Europe there he would go on the sniff out gas attacks minutes before they reached the trench. He was later hurt by a grenade while in the hospital he became sort of a therapy dog until he went back into the trenches to continue his service until the end of the war.

thomas jefferson is the type of guy to know that it is wrong, but still do it anyways because its the benefit you get from it.

The Franks were never officially denied visas, the report concludes, but their applications were rendered useless by “bureaucracy, war and time”. One application was lost in a German bombardment of Rotterdam, the Netherlands, in 1940.

Also look up the St. Louis ship. It carried over 900 Jews, gypsies and others from germany to the US but they were denied access and they were told that if they came any close, even if they swam they would be shot and killed.

The Disney one is partially false. Disney hired women inkers, who did the outlines for all the drawings. In fact, Walt’s wife, Lillian, was an inker. While they didn’t technically do all the animation sketches, they still worked for the studio.

their visas to the US were not denied, the office in which was processing them was destroyed in a bombing. (2nd anne frank fact i've had to correct on this channel).

When it comes to Titanic, I know a lot. But it’s good to refresh it and a lot of this is very sad information and even spooky to think about nowadays.

Bonus fact about those Soviet Bomb dogs, the idea was quickly abandoned as the dogs were trained on Soviet Tanks, thus kept blowing up Soviet Tanks in battle

I always thought Anne Frank's story was known only in the Netherlands. But apparently it's known in the whole world
