Are the Saudi's Still Frontrunners to Buy WWE?

It feels like it is becoming more and more likely that either A. Saudi was always the only buyer or B. The whole sale talk was never real and just an excuse for Vince to regain power and eventually creative control.

The WWE need to stay in America honestly they never should have went public, the second they did its been a decline for not only the company but the product and perception of Professional Wrestling as a whole, it's the entire reason we could never have something as great as the Attitude Era or even the Ruthless Aggression Era ever again

I don't see where the payoff is for Endeavor. They borrowed a lot of money to buy UFC because they felt they could raise the TV rights from 100m to 450m per year. It took them a few years but they now bring in $450m from ESPN alone, with another $150m from overseas rights.

However, Dave had a report back in January that Fox is losing money hand over fist because Smackdown generates was less in ad revenue than they could've thought. They paid an average of 200m per year but Smackdown only brings in 63m in ad revenues. How can you increase rights fees on a show that, while number 1 on Fridays, is losing the network $135m+.

Need to really put the "greater fool" theory to the test.
