How To Choose Your Uni Course!

Here are some tips on how to choose your university course. It can be a really tough and long-winded process, particularly if you don't know what you want to study, but hopefully in this video I'll be able to give you some advice on how to figure out which course is best for you.

If I don't know what I want to do, then I should pick a broader course...
but then, picking a broader course also still has a focus, like a major, that I will have to pick at least by second year.
It is very very challenging for me, because I still don't know what I like.
I hate my life.

Don't follow your passion, follow your skills.

The market won't pay for your passions but will pay for the services and goods that you will be able to provide better and cheaper.

Instead of finding what's your passion, find what are your skills and then cross them with what the market rewards and requires.

Once you've established that, if your skill sets allow you for more than one career, then choose the one that you like most.

Don't invest time, money and effort into something that will leave you without a realistic, stable and sufficient income.

im struggling picking my course. I dont know what i wanna be! All i know is i wanna work abroad. Also one of the reasons why i still cant decide is that some courses i wanna take has some serious math in there! since i was born mathematics is my nightmare. i got trauma with my math teacher once so thats fine. ugh. i have to decide asap because exams are on going!

I have applied for multimedia journalism at Bournemouth but now I'm thinking about media production as I keep coming back to look at it and I really interested in production & post production etc. I see that you're at Bournemouth and was wondering what your honest opinion of it is there as I can't find much about it at that particular uni!?
