She right. You can't get anywhere if you just have a nice voice and nothing else. You don't have to be a supermodel but if you aren't likeable, or a strong performer, you most likely won't get very far.

FInally someone speaks up. Every contestant in those programs seemed to have some 'touching' story it was starting to look a bit too coincidental to be true. But then I realized they just voted them through because of their story instead of their talent. So if you wanna win a talent show, you better come up with some emotional story. Forget about getting singing classes.

I would love that job. I sit in a chair for a few hours judging people's voices. I have a make up team and a stylist to make sure I look good and free food. And I make millions and the hardest part about my job is telling people they can't sing. That's the dream right there.

She's kinda right about the look thing, like there are thousands of talented singers, millions, but only a few hundred famous ones, either because their voice is good AND unique or they have a great voice and a good stage presence. Most singers who are amazing don't know what to do with themselves when people look at them. Not saying they don't have a career, just not one on the stage or in front of cameras. Maybe a recording one.

I don't care how they look or what they do on stage. When I buy an album I'm not going to see that anyway. The voice is what matters most and frankly should be the only thing that matters. Eurovision is just about who has the hottest backup dancers or who can make the most catchy beat. The voice is about the thing that actually matters... the....voice!
