How long does the 9V battery typically last? I do understand it will depend on the frequency of opening and closing, so lets say twice a day (2 open, 2 closed) every day of the week.

Just bought a Gardena Select 1891. Spent an hour trying to work out how to program it as the instruction manual is completely hopeless. It just says select schedule, set schedule, confirm schedule, device programmed - with no information whatsoever how to do any of these actions. This video helps a bit but still gives no information on how to make any changes to an existing setup or how to use the override function. There is no excuse for not providing some detailed information with the product. I have used several gardena watering systems for the last 10 years or more but not sure that I would ever buy another one after this dreadful experience.

Um, all this runs on a battery? I'm not sure it's a durable solution. Perhaps have an option to plug in a socket?

hi. i have the following issue. the programmer was working properly and suddenly one day it outputs very small amount of water. Like the valve opens a little bit. Should this be a battery problem or something else?

Non si capisce se tutti tre i programmi P1, P2 e P3 si succedono automaticamente ogni giorno, all'ora programmata, oppure se viene eseguito un solo programma al giorno, (sperabilmente quello scelto), fino a quando ne viene scelto di un altro.
La domanda è: si possono programmare TRE irrigazioni ad ore diverse del giorno (di durata identica o diversa)? Non c'è indicata la frequenza giornaliera: sembra che esegua UNA SOLA VOLTA AL GIORNO UN PROGRAMMA.

Purchased the 1891 model several days ago finding the instructions inadequate.Wishing to alter the watering days has proved hopeless.I am not alone it seems judging by previous comments on this video.Very disappointed.
