Chris Christie Launches Scathing Attack on Donald Trump

Chris Christie, former New Jersey governor and current candidate for the 2024 Republican nomination for president, launched a scathing attack on Donald Trump in last night’s town hall event on CNN. Trump, who has become the first former president in U.S. history to face federal charges, was indicted on 37 criminal counts, including withholding national defense information and mishandling classified documents.

Thank you Chris Christie. I thank you for standing up for what he did to our beautiful Atlantic City. I watched dear friends foreclose on their homes and had to file bankruptcy on their businesses, why? We all know why. He refused to pay them. But because the people were small potatoes it didn’t matter until he wiped out, ghosted, you might say the city. And then he split. Never answered for his own destruction of his own casinos.
