The cloth is already a distorted sphere to become flat and they’re trying to re circle it around a larger sphere. the earth is still round yall

And remember that map of the earth WILL NOT cover the globe because that map is not accurate with the real size of the countries and shape of the earth. There are some cool maps that show actual sizes and how they are misrepresented on 2d maps
