Thanks Joey. Love the method using the WP Mautic plugin. Simple and no coding necessary.

Is it possible to trigger that first email immediately? a potential of 60 seconds is too long, in my opinion

Thanks Joey. I see one problem with this approach. If I know the confirmation email url and want to add some fake emails i have only to replace email in url.
Is there a way to add a random string to confirmation url and check it?

Hi Joey! Thank you so much for this great explanation ;-) Is there a way to delete tags via the php script as well? For example I am tagging the contact with 'pendingDOI' on the thank you page after sending the form. When the contact clicks the Confirmation Mail the php script is tagging him with 'DOI' but how can i delete the 'pendingDOI' tag via the script? I'd like to use it this way to make sure the contact will not receive any other emails in the mean time. Cheers! Florian

Hi Joey.. thanks for your videos..
I wonder to know...
when you create a new form, you choose stand alone form option
because if we do at campaign form, we will not get the option to send email to contact..
But.. if wo run a form for campaign.. how to connect the contact.. to my running campaing..?

Or course we can select segment modification too... base on your experience, if we change the segment.. so the contact will trigger on segment campaign..?

Thanks

Thanks but how can you add it to the confirmed segment automatically after adding the tag to the contact? Would you please explain?

mm, having hassles. I tried to set this up using the WP slug. I added the shortcode to the confirmation page. But the subscriber is not getting tagged in mautic. I can see the tag that the wp mautic slug creates in mautic as one of the tag options, but it is not being applied to the contact visiting the page. I can see that the URL is being hit by the contact but no tag is applied. Not sure how to trouble shoot this?

Hi, the WordPress option (or any way using the tracking gif) rely on cookies right? and with the JavaScript don't?

For me it seems the JS solution is better, so do you think it feasible to hash the email in link with JavaScript, getting a URL that don't exposes the user data?

Can same method be used to add segment to contacts instead of tags? Like Newsletter segments I like double opt for each newsletter not one double opts for all newsletter . Doable?

Hm, did my comment went into spam? It contained a link (to the Mautic-forums), that's probably why :/
