Fifa 20 was my very first FUT experience in the game. Hands down, the best pack opening animation of them all.
The build up of the opening, the decoration of the tunnel, the lovely flares on the very beginning showing if you got a promo card or not. Absolutely lovely.

I would wish to have a mix of this year's card designs and FIFA 20 pack opening animation.

Fifa 17 and 15 are the best. Perfect and simple, not over the top, still dramatic like other packs, both would get you extremely excited. Can’t be beaten

20 is my favourite really liked the tunnel when it was a promo really hope EA bring back a similar pack animation for EAFC 24, 17 is a close 2nd

fifa 20 for me is the best, always will have gameplay problems but pack animation was the best and the league sbc / sud and lib grind plus bronze packs, just infinite fun and money that year. didnt need any fifa points and being locked up whole second half of that years fifa just such a fun grind

Nep just went from my first FIFA aged 8, all the way to FIFA 23 aged 22.

With each new pack animation I unlock distinct memories from those years. 2023 really is the EOAE.

Fifa 20 was the best. The tunnel with the flares then the flag was a really nice build up. Fifa 22 and 23 were the worst. In Fifa 23 I have to mute cause you can hear it by the sound if its a walkout or not, that just kills the hype for me. Even the animations are going downhill EA smh..

Fifa 20 is the best by a mile the roller coaster you go on after seeing the lights glow go across the floor to open the door is just perfect and then seeing the designs on the wall perfection

The training cards on Fifa 09 were permanent. I had a 99 overall Henry and 99 Dinho up front, but if your contract went to 0...you lost the card. Stakes were high

Packing a good card these days just doesn't have the same hype as it used to because cards are just not as valuable and rare as they used to be

Toss up vetween 19 and 20. 20 maybe edges it. But both were insane. Totally agree with todays animation. It looks gpod in the sense that alot of work has went into it, but theres little excitement as you know straight away what you get. I would love to see more of a phased pack animation in EA 24.
