Such a good idea to paint black first on sections you want to distress. I don't think I would ever get tired of black/white either. It's so classy.

Wow I love the black-and-white and I have a funny story I was at a furniture store looking at couches and I wanted matching end tables and coffee table and they were garbage ! Every single thing in the store was junk LOL and this was not a bad furniture store .... I looked at the salesman and said oh I’m going to flip my own LOL he winked at me and said that’s what his wife did
