Thanks for posting this. First learned of this as a end mini-game in Mission:Impossible for Super Nintendo. I wrote down the game board, but they omitted the top middle peg.

I would know where did you search that there is a middle peg in all the three edge? Madelinette with 8 pegs. From where does this bord came in history? Is it a way to make the game easier for beginners?
