I'm not sure if this is connected but I believe I experienced the baptism of the spirit and fire. After God delivered me from decades of addiction and affliction over night I started reading the Bible. When I finished Revelation I felt something powerful come over me and I hit the floor. My bones started burning like they were on fire. It wasn't painful just intense. The only word I could utter was Glory. So random. I still can't believe I wake up with peace every day after GOD pulled me from the pit and gave me a new... everything.

My mother was a Christian from a child. But at 21 with three kids and husband forsook them, she went to a Spirit filled Church who were preaching the Holy Ghost baptism. She was convicted she needed it and started going down to recieve . She received the Holy Ghost speaking in tongues. The Holy Ghost was still with her when she died at age 95. She did have the gift of healing.❤😊

You will go through the fire with God or without. We all have a cross to carry. It's the daily financial worries, illnesses, painful relationships and suffering that build our faith. When we learn to put all these thing in Gods hands we are being baptized by fire. We learn to trust him to catch us if we fall, and when you have gone through it enough, you have a sense of peace because you have God.

I was baptized as a child... and sought God and Jesus so fervently... that one day in my rest after worship... something came down so suddenly, oh... it was fire in my chest. So strong and strong it filled me and I woke with a such a start, only able to say, "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!" And I knew then it was a baptism of fire. After that... I chose to get baptized again by choice in water. And... I felt such joy after reading the new testament. The hard part... is keeping to the narrow path and wrestling when you really want to know God beyond just scripture. It can get dangerous. And honestly... just keep your eyes on Christ. A house divided cannot fall and evil cannot mix with good, a compromise for evil will eventually allow evil. Be loving, be merciful, be forgiving and put Jesus above all else because you were bought with a price. He is the self sacrificing love, you don’t need to sacrifice yourself for love anymore. Walk free, my friends. Christ has always watched you, from the moment you were born, waiting for you to come to him.

My best friend got baptized when she was about 25 . When we were in the church they had us hold candles and someone got to close to my friend being baptized and her hair caught on fire and we got it out and her hair was barely singed … when we went to her home after to celebrate all the fire alarms went off !

He is teaching without the experience of the Holy Spirit.

When Jezus baptized me, I literally felt my whole face and neck on fire. After that, I experienced it on different occasions like a soothing warmth in my spirit, sometimes like a fire in my spirit or on my hands or running from my feet up. I have also experienced it as an electric shock or as a burning liquid gold in my spirit.That was the most beautiful experience.

After receiving the baptism with the Holy Spirit He takes control of your vocal chords and makes you speak in tongues as a signal that you have received the baptism.

You can also receive it when you ask God to baptize you. And you will receive it after you have completely surrendered to God.
