Cow Creek North Campground - Green Mountain Reservoir

Cow Creek North Campground is located in desert sagebrush along the northeastern shores of Green Mountain Reservoir. The reservoir is on the Blue River with approximately 2,000 surface acres and is 5 miles long. The reservoir attracts boaters, water skiers, & fisherman who head for the nearby Blue River. Cow Creek North Campground is smaller and less busy than neighboring Cow Creek South.

Directions: From the Silverthorne exit off I-70, take Hwy 9 north for about 22-23 miles. The campground is on the left shortly after passing the turnoff for Cow Creek South
