I was about to unleash my PO-33 when I thought to myself... I always wanted to make a stop motion video... When I attended university for Animation & Film, many moons ago, we covered Stop Motion but it was so brief that one day I was hoping to revisit those concepts... Here is my first attempt... In this instance it was a one and done since once the box was torn open could not really go back... I am not a professional stop motion artist but I like the results, had a bit of fun and plan on playing around a bit more in this realm when I can... I hope you enjoy it as well...

The term "stop motion", relating to the animation technique, is often spelled with a hyphen as "stop-motion". Both orthographical variants, with and without the hyphen, are correct, but the hyphenated one has a second meaning that is unrelated to animation or cinema...

In stop motion, which is a style of animated filmmaking, small physical adjustments are made to objects in between separately captured frames so that, when the sequence of frames is played back, they appear to move independently or change. Any object can therefore be animated, but the most popular types are puppets with movable joints (puppet animation) and plasticine figurines (clay animation or claymation). In model animation, armature-supported puppets, models, or clay figures are used. Pixilation is a common name for stop motion that uses live actors. Cutout animation is the common name for stop-motion created from flat materials like paper, fabrics, or photographs...
