It's actually pretty sad, in my opinion. The fact that Harry didn't come see his own Granny right before her death tells me everything. Of course, if he and Me'hedgehog would stop with their bs and complaining to every single camera and mic, they might be able to mend some of the bridges they've blown up. How was it awkward? Harry spent time chatting with Beatrice and Eugenie (which he's both still very close to) before the ceremony. The whole ceremony is very awkward for everyone, but that's because it's so stiff with formality.
