Laguna Vacuum Chuck Generator Set Up And Test Review

Finally bought a vacuum chuck generator pump for my Laguna Revo 18-36 and i thought i'll share my experience with you, set up and first turning included. leave a comment if you have any questions.

Thanks for putting this video review up. Very helpful, I’m trying to decide whether to go that route or if I should just get the adapter and hook up a vacuum pump. Really like the clean look of the “inverter”, but I don’t like the idea of running a compressor all the time and all that noise. Your shop is beautiful man! I’m very impressed with the layout and how organized your tools are. It’s also nice to have those windows and a nice view.

I have the HoldFast V812 vacuum system that I use with my JET 1221. It works OK (within limits) but is apparently not adaptable to the the Laguna 18/36. I'm thinking about the Laguna vacuum system. I see that you have other videos about the Laguna system that I will watch shortly. Halfway through this video, I can see that the Laguna system is more about looks than practicality (as compared to the HoldFast system). So far, my opinion is "meh". Thanks for making the video. I'm sure I'll add comments to your other Laguna vacuum videos. Cheers!

where did to get the morse taper adapter?

I forgot to ask - did you end up getting he one way vacuum set up? If so, what did you think? Wonder if that would work on the Laguna…
