Going through some ways to downsize my tackle and take only what I think I will need versus taking out stuff that has never produced for the particular body of water I'll be fishing.

Great info and a great idea, especially for a tournament non-boater.
Thank you.

The day box! That's what I am talking about. I do this every time I go out... one tray of the things that'll work that day.

I got to say I self taught my self to fish and I only went once when I was little now I go all the time and it's additive just seeing what everyone use when they go I have to ask how long did it take you to collect all of those fishing lures and stuff I'd be in heaven having all that don't have to keep going back to the store all the time to get new lures

I have watched other youtubers organize their tackle boxes or show you what their new tackle boxes look like and many have done it with things like a tackle box or bag that takes th 3700 model plastic containers and you can easily switch them out as needed. My comment is not specifically on this man, but in general we all organize differently as we all have different purposes (he does tournaments) for fishing and we all fish different species more or primarily. You could organize the boxes by the types and sizes of the lures. It could be by your favorites for a species of fish. It could be for the species of fish at the depth, shallow or deep you will be fishing. It could be all jerk baits in one box and all crankbaits in another box. It could be all treble hooks in one box.

How many varieties of fish do you fish? Salt and fresh water? Personally I have multiple boxes for panfish, croppie, then a few for bass, and then fewer for northern pike and muskie and that's because of how much I fish each of these varieties as I don't have a nice boat to always hook up and take out all of the time. Then I divide by baits for casting and baits I would need to go trolling. I know I am much more likely to go out on a boat with a large motor than I am going to be able to find or bring a smaller boat I can take a trolling motor with me. This is my situation and why I organize my things the way I do. If I am going on a kayak then I can easily put things into a very small box like he says based on what I am likely to fishing for on that lake/river and that's what I bring. If I am fishing to toss back because kids will be there I need to change out the barbed hooks I have and keep things exceptionally simple. Organizing is not something you do once and find it works for you, it's something you fine tune over years of doing it and taking your gear out and putting it away after each use. In the winter or during down time then sharpening your hooks can give you an edge on getting those fish that would otherwise have gotten away. You evolve as tackle is added to your collection as well and having it organized can show you weak spots in your collection such as a bias towards certain colors, avoiding trying other types of baits for a fish species and sticking to your comfort zone only, etc.

Would love to see a video with some actual how-to-organize tips instead of just, "I keep my stuff locked away and organized, and I check the hooks & pull out the rusty ones during the winter."

May I please I have the rusty stuff you get rid of?

I am a bank fisherman I was wondering how well do plastic baits stay salted and not to dry out in the boxes should I try and use some type of lubrication or should I try something different thank you

How to get money to buy tackle - something that it seems you know well - would also be good.

you gotta first make an unboxing video with your hundreds of dollars worth of tackle from the tackle warehouse.
