Can someone help me please understand the whole "left if it's positive" and "right if it's negative" thing, please? Like, if X=1 and for |x| it would be (1, 1) cool, but how is it that |x+5| is moving left???? that doesn't make sense because if you solve it using the same x=1, then |1+5|= so it would be (6, 6) which is right of (1, 1) not I am sorry but I'm so confused.
