Oman mourns the passing of Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said

Oman’s #Sultan_Qaboos has passed away. Sultan Qaboos Bin Said of Oman, the Arab world's longest-serving ruler, was laid to rest on Saturday morning. He passed away late on Friday night. Oman declared three days of official mourning with flags to be flown at half-mast for 40 days.

Inna lillahi wainna ilaihi raajihoon, tears came into my eyes when I heard the passing away of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, the ruler of Oman, my first country to work in 1983, Sultan of Oman's Navy then, now its ROYAL NAVY OF OMAN, I REMEMBER HOW OMAN WAS DURING 83' and how Sultan of Oman developed the country into a modern country with his vision. Also I have personally seen HIS MAJESTY SULATN QABOOS BIN SAID AT THE NAVAL BASE IN MUSCAT, AND AS WELL AS IN WUDAM SAHIL. OMAN AND THE PEOPLE OF OMAN ARE VERY KIND, RESPECTFUL AND EDUCATED AND GIVE RESPECT TO ALL THE EXPATRIATES. MAY ALMIGHTY ALLAH GRANT HIS MAJESTY SULTAN QABOOS A PLACE IN JANNAH. AAMEEN .
