It grinds my teeth when ever I hear the declaration.

These people are likened unto small children stomping their foot and hands on their hips crying out "I want, I will have" in a store to their parent. This gives you a realistic visual image in this plane to compare to the spiritual plane. The child has broken all the house rules and ignored the parents correction, but are demanding to be rewarded.

I was in a prosperity church for over ten years. I used to pray in such a manner and became discouraged when God wouldn’t answer. I was much younger in my faith and chocked it up as God doesn’t love me and is not hearing my prayers. It caused me to move away from God for a time. Fast forward. I’ve found a Bible based church and I’m learning we come humbly before Him to make our petition. He is sovereign and may or may not answer and it’s all for my benefit. That is reshaping my thoughts and prayer life. The truth should be shared so others won’t fall pray.

I have relatives who are totally into decreeing and declaring! They are totally innocently praying 🙏🏻 this way because they think they have authority and that other Christians are not using their authority like they should! I can’t even say my leg hurts or I just don’t feel good in front of my aunt or she will Lovingly reprimand me and say pray in tongues and declare that I’m well! So I can’t even talk to her anymore!! 😢

God's promises are yes and Amen. I am an overcomer in Jesus. Prayers and blessings everyone. Praying for being of one accord ( John 17 ) Why not pray in a short ? Greater fervency for what we are to do now and moving forward is required. If we are fervent in saying this is wrong, then demonstrate a greater love of Jesus in prayer and supplication and praises. Almost every time when I have been worried about the future of my local church, God has been answering me by showing that there is hope. When I have been worried about my economy, I have got extra work. My experience is completely the opposite to these decree and declare people that refuse to admit reality.
