The people who knows the value of Hindu history, definitely they will give 10/10 rating. Peoples who don't know about Hindu history they will say haa this movie is dune and mad Max indian version. But this movie is most valuable south indian movie.

First half was pretty mediocre imo. The second half was an absolute BANGER. Made it worth it for me. Its especially satisfying for people well-versed with the Mahabharata and the two short prequel videos that the makers released on Youtube prior to the movie's release.

I hope the writers take into consideration how the first half didn't resonate with the audiences and that it feels dated. Kalki Part 2 should be a better overall narrative.

Don't forget it's an origin movie. Rather than comparing it with Avengers endgame of infinity war . Compare it with Thor's first movie or captain America the first Avenger.

I am very well versed in indian cinema especially Hindi films but I never quite understood the hype for RRR. It was a 7.5/10 at best. Kalki on the other hand was absolutely astonishing and a sight to behold from start to finish. The story, the use of Indian mythology and it's combination of sci-fi and religious elements as well as some terrific action especially in the brilliant, goosebump inducing and transcendent final 30 minutes made this a truly unforgettable experience. It had a slower 1st half sure but for me that wasn't as much of an issue as the characters and world-building were continuously interesting and all the setup in the 1st half paid off brilliantly in the flawless 2nd half. A 9/10 film and I am supremely excited to see more from the "Kalki Cinematic Universe".🔥🔥🔥

You cannot mislead Mahabharata especially when you are making it for International audience. The starting scene where it is shown that an arrow about to hit Karna on his back is a misleading scene and overhype of a selfish character like Karna through the mouth of Shri Krishna is another blood boiling mislead scene😡 Nag Ashwin still in the hangover of "Daana veera shura karna" movie I think. This has to be changed. It took many efforts from our religious preachers to portray actual Mahabharata but people like Nag comes and destroy their efforts in a single shot. People just remember films and believe that is true especially kids will have huge impact in their brains. Very disappointing from Nag Ashwin. Sorry guys don't believe in this director's theory please its not true. Karna is a negative character actually but here he shown him as a Hero.

The first half was pretty bad but after the interval it picked up speed. The Mahabharat flashbacks were the best parts of the film along with the fight scenes of AB Sr. As an Indian myself I'm kinda disappointed in it overall.

You are disappointed because you didnot get half of the movie
Learn the characters
It's like watching endgame without prior knowledge in Marvel.

Why isn’t any of the non-Indian people trying to learn about the story on which this movie is based upon?!
I mean, we Indians were excited when Marvel and Avatar came and we tried to understand the story and all that.
But none of you, for real, none of you, tried to learn about the story.
For everyone’s information: Please read the entire Mahabharata story and dig deep into it and try knowing every damn character and their individual stories.

Then, come and watch this movie. I promise you that you will love this movie at that moment 😊

Bro, you making shorts and living short life, but the history of Hinduism is not short. Revisit the movie once again, your opinion will change. Hold on, it will give that goosebumps experience you may not get in that 1st time 😂.

I’m seeing a little disappointment all around. Sean’s interest in Indian cinema has rubbed off on me a bit so I am at least interested to watch this one whenever I can on streaming given it’s been a couple of months since the last one I’ve seen (Pathaan back in January), but I hope it’ll get me back in a mood to watch more Indian cinema. I was kinda drained after the last 4 that I saw in one single week 😅😂
