Discharged from hospital after battling COVID-19 for nearly 100 days

It's been 95 long and emotional days since Llibran Alma Mayolino saw his five kids. He had been battling, and beating, coronavirus since he was admitted to the hospital on April 18.

"It's affected all of the family. We used to cry so much, especially on the hard days," said Ada Alma, Llibran's sister.

Only happy tears were shed on Wednesday, as Llibran was discharged from Good Shepherd Hospital. Hearts were grateful for a second chance at life for Llibran, who spent his 44th birthday fighting for it. Ada says doctors weren't confident Llibran would survive.

"We said 'yes he will. We're going to keep praying to God, keep doing the best that you can do for him and God is going to walk him through it' and he did. Thank you, Lord because you saved my brother," said Alma.
