I'm so glad I found your channel; my grandfather (and all of that side of the family) is Estonian, but he never taught my father or myself the language.
So its like finding a little lost part of myself, and I can finally hear and learn his native tongue.

Tere! I just love this nice neightbour. Im from Finland! I don't know if someone has already said that but 'aitäh' means 'excuse me' in informal way in Finnish (actually spelled 'Ai täh?"). And there's many other similar words. Sometimes I can fully understand Estonian and sometimes I can perfectly misunderstand because of the similarity.
