I honestly just do not understand how they have Haney as the favorite to win this fight? Devin is a gifted young fighter. But he hasn't remotely faced any guys like Davis, Garcia, Loma, Lopez? George has massive heart and massive experience. And he's a super hungry champ

George is an interesting kind of athlete.. his form, speed & power on pads as far as I can remember always looked high quality.

It made me think that he would give teo hell when they fought.

But his boxing IQ on pads doesn’t seem to translate while he’s fighting. If ever it did.. it was against Teo (when he most needed it) but even in that fight the more wild and unorthodox thrown punches were being used..

Ever since that fight though. The crisp shots would only show up for short intervals in a few rounds.

And I think that’s why George struggles at the high level..

The inability to have the consistent high level form against high level opposition.

He's gonna be a Big problem for anyone in his weight class including Devin Haney. Hell I thought that Russian dude was fast. But this guy is faster then Devin too!
